Bought this for my 16 year old son who has gained an interest in Piano. He loves it. We had an electronic piano we bought 20 years ago for $4000, a good machine which is in my Ex's house, and my son says this one is better. Who knows? Maybe he's buttering up Dad? But He loves it and uses it with his headphones and connects it to his laptop and I have no idea how it all works, but, good.

This digital piano is great for beginners or if you're like me and wanted to add a second portable keyboard for daily practice. Even though this is a digital keyboard, the keys are fully weighted which isn't something I'd expect from a digital keyboard. Not only that, but this set also comes with dampers which gives the feeling like I'm playing from the traditional upright piano.Setting up the piano was super easy and quick. All that's required is attaching the legs and plugging in the damper which took less than 10 minutes to do. The piano itself is not very heavy, in fact, I was able to carry it alone. This is probably one of the downside of this piano. While it looks stylish, the piano itself doesn't have a lot of weight so if I bump into it, it will be displaced rather easily. The other difference for me is the sound comes out of a speaker so it doesn't echo like a traditional piano, or you could run it through headphones if you'd rather be discreet. Overall, it's a good piano, and none of the drawbacks are deal breakers, given the price point.

I have been impressed with this keyboard as a good solution for a portable full-size piano keyboard that takes up very little room. One of the biggest problems with keyboards and learning on them is the actual feel/action of the keys. This design gets pretty close to real piano acoustic action, making it a good option for learning to play for children. The setup is stable, and being able to play only with headphones is a great perk for people who have a piano practicer/player in an area where you don't always want the noise. This is perfect for players with small apartments, roommates, or for children who love to play/practice for hours - all without having to bother those around them.As a former piano teacher, I would not teach children who did not have a piano and wanted to learn on a keyboard, but the action and full size of this particular keyboard would get my blessing as an 'actual' piano for the purpose of long-term learning for this musical instrument at a fundamental level. The sound is good, there are a lot of options to change synthesizer sounds as well, which children will love to play with, although I didn't go too much into their depths to test them all. Being able to add rhythms and additional acoustics is a nice touch for audiophiles who want to experiment with mixing. The pedals are good, work as expected, and have nice action as well. Overall I didn't really find any shortcomings - it's a good value instrument that should work well and last a long time.
