Arlington FB900-1 Fan and Fixture Mounting Boxes for New Construction, Fits Cathedral Ceilings 80 Degrees and Up. This unit ships with a ready-to-tighten center screw, installed NM cable connector and two screws for bracket installation (held in place until removed by installer). Arlington fittings are carefully inspected and our manufacturing process is designed to prevent the possibility of a defective product leaving our plant. In the event any of our products are found to be defective, we will replace them with new product free of charge. The time limit for this warranty is one year following the date of sale or one year after the date of installation, whichever is the earlier date. This warranty does not apply when the product is used for any purpose other than the intended use as described in the Arlington literature. This warranty does not apply when the product is used for any installation which would violate the national electrical code or any code which takes precedence in a particular jurisdiction. Labor is not included.

Did exactly what I needed. Mounted Big Ass Fan to a 14ft vaulted ceiling. Absolutely no issue.

They do exactly what they’re suppose to do,I’ve installed these for ceiling fans, light fixtures, and soffit lights ( with a little modification of course)i always install these with 2x4 or 2x6 wood backing depending what I’m hanging, and trim off the excess plastic that isn’t needed,Then paint if desired

Great concept, we just didn’t realize it was for during construction only. We needed them for a renovation project. To return them almost cost as much as they were worth

My husband was planning to install a ceiling fan slightly off center of our ceiling peak. This was unacceptable to me. I found this box and it was delivered the next day. It was easy for him to install and looks great. Now we are both happy!!

Great product, great price. New Home Build and the contractor messed up the fan mounting point. Of course not identified until drywall was done.

I bought this to install a ceiling fan into existing construction. my application was a cathedral ceiling with no attic above. It obviously isn’t made for that but I had no real issues after I cut away some existing drywall. The biggest issue I did have was my install ended up being slightly off center but I was clearly free-styling and didn’t even know the angle of my ceiling so I’m willing to accept the blame and to be honest it’s hardly noticeable.Overall I was happy to find this and feel that it was a great off the shelf solution to adding a ceiling fan to my existing cathedral ceiling. Keep in mind if you are dealing with old work and don’t have attic access you will need to do some drywall work but it isn’t a big deal to use this in existing
