The ENERLITES 2375 weatherproof outlet box is a double-gang electrical box that features three 3/4-inch diameter knockouts. This 2-gang outlet box is designed specifically for installing switches and receptacles in moisture-prone or outdoor locations. The electrical box features a die-cast metal construction that seals out moisture, dust, debris, and insects to keep receptacles protected year-round and throughout any weather conditions. The gray-colored junction box is also powder coated for maximum scratch and corrosion resistance. This 2-gang weatherproof box is compatible with standard toggle switches, duplex receptacles, decorator switches/receptacles, and GFCI receptacles. The junction box is compatible with 2-gang weatherproof covers, such as ENERLITES models IUC2V-D or 7702-WP (wall plates sold separately). The outdoor outlet box comes with a pre-installed grounding screw, closure plugs, mounting lugs, and installation screws to make installation as fast and easy and possible. This product is UL & CUL listed and complies with NEC 2017 406.9 for a weatherproof enclosure in damp locations..

The Depth of this box is NOT "2.82” Depth" as indicated in the description. (Sellers, please correct this in the description!).Those who are looking for a deep outlet box, this is not the one. The depth is only the standard 2.16 inches. Note, many GFCI, receptacles with integrated USB power connectors may not fit in this box.

Excellent quality and was cheaper than buying locally. I Use them with Hubbell/Taymac metal in use covers and everything seals and fits perfectly.

I used this in assembling an extension cord with two GFCI/AFCI protected outlets and an Amp/Volt meter which mounts in a 22mm round hole.It was a bit tight, but everything fit and it works well. A big plus is that a metal box like this is less likely to be damaged when dropped.

I needed it to install an outdoor light that must be attached to the 2 gang box. My old box was 1 gang. This one is a standard drop in replacement and everything worked OK.
