I have used the UV, and Polarized filters, but not the other one yet. I use the UV for basic lens protection.

It is not right that I have to buy a set that is cheaper than a single filter which I actually needed. However all three filters are good quality.

Inexpensive coated filters that I'm using on video cam. Polarizer gives deeper color to sky and reduces reflections. The fold-over case was too large to fit in the camera bag, so I found another small case and put the filters in their glassine envelopes into that case.

I'm not quite getting three stops on the ND8 filter, more like 2-2/3. There was a minor bubble in the coating of the UV filter. The pola seems OK. Ah it's not bad enough to return them I suppose. The wallet is designed for much bigger filters.Roger Cicala's (one of the few camera reviewers worth listening to) testing showed that Hoya HMC were actually the best make of UV filter on the market ironically. So I've switched all my filters to that.

What can I say about these filters that people don't already know. The glass is glass and it's clean with no visible imperfections. The Cpl filter works great for removing non metallic reflections and the NDx8 is perfect for shooting smooth water scenes at slow shutter and in extreme lighting conditions where shallow depth of field is still required. The main attraction is the addition of the HMC (uv) filter this is worth $25 by itself for protecting your lens investment and having no visible adverse affect on the operation and quality of your lens. Also the pouch is of great quality and can be used to hold much larger filters as well if needed.hoya, cpl, circular polarizer, nd, ndx8, neutral density, uv, ultra violet
