My kids used this net for catching minnows and the carbon rod/handle broke after a couple days. These nets are for gentle use as they break easily.

This is the first of 3 nets to survive a summer at the hands of a avid fishing absessed three year old, be it reel fish, pretend fish inside, tadpoles, hotwheel cars... you name it he nets it. This net has held up to everything so far.
