I needed to add a new bracket for my attic light switch and this fit perfectly against the wall stud! I like that it hooks around the stud for a firm hold before screwing in the side and front plate.

I don't know if you have ever used an electrical box extender but it does not scream quality. This however is one of the most elegant electrical boxes I have seen. It has both side and front screws for the metal bracket, and it is thick steel that holds the primary box very rigid. Then you have a screw under the cover plate that you can turn to bring it forward or back. This per great, especially if you don't know your final depth until later as you can adjust it at any point. I was really worried it would not feel secure being on a rail but it is, probably less flex than even a normal box. The price is clearly a bit more than standard but quicker install and precision depth adjustment is worth it if you have any doubt as to the final.
