I have 2 large long-haired dogs and 2 persian cats. I was hoping this would help with grooming but unfortunately all four pets were scared of the noise and so it was stressful to use on them. Additionally, the suction was not sufficient. I bought this based on the reviews but it wasn’t for us.

We tried this for our Bernese mountain dog & had little success. The brush holds all the fur so you end up having to pull it out of the brush combs with your hands and shove it down the tube - then the tube gets clogged with the amount of hair that the brush holds. The container also holds a minuscule amount of fur for a large breed dog so you end up emptying it many time’s during a groom. It would make more sense to just brush your dog and have a vacuum near by. I can’t speak to the cutting features as we don’t trim our dogs fur. Our dog also hated the sound and was shaking the entire time. I liked the idea, but isn’t practical if you’re just looking for a deshedding tool.

Fantastic product works exactly as advertised. Have one small pomchi and she was completely comfortable during the grooming process. Noise / volume level was of no concern even on highest setting. Highly recommended
