This lock is great for a locker room locker, I wouldn't use it to secure something of high value. The locking and opening mechanism is smooth and the key seems unique enough to make the lock hard to pick. My problem is with the housing, it feels cheap and not durable. It is made from some kid of hard plastic. Like I said, it is good for a quick lock of items of low value and short term but not to secure something you would consider very valuable to you over the long run.

These are nice padlocks. I like the red color so that they stand out and can be easily seen.These seem sturdy and should last awhile.I'll update my review if they start to corrode sooner than I would expect.

Great locks for the money. Perfect for LOTO when I need to isolate numerous things at once. Being keyed alike, I only have to keep up with 1 individual key. This makes things very simple.

At $25.65 (Amazon price at time of both purchase and review) this was an excellent find.The locks are keyed alike so with five keys you can stash them around as needed. And they are not orientation-dependent; stick the key in the lock and operate. Also, they are positive-lock locks, meaning you can't remove the key unless you lock the lock. Really, really nice.They work perfectly for the homestead tasks of keeping certain pens locked. With them being outside all the time how they fare in the weather is my only concern. We'll see, I guess. But first impressions/use...? Love them.5 stars.
