This is my first camping cot. I've used inflatable mattresses in the past and they just aren't very comfortable and I don't like being on the ground. I looked at a lot of cots and this was the only one I found that offered larger sizes and was still reasonably priced. I was a little worried after reading reviews, mostly because they didn't offer free returns and I was concerned about having to pay shipping on a return. Thankfully, the product I received is definitely new and constructed properly. Set up and take down each take about 2 min and get easier every time. (LOVE that pivot arm!) The second set up, I struggled a little, but when I repositioned where I was standing and how my body was angled to the cot, everything slid right into place.I'm 5'2" 120 lbs and I got the middle size because I sleep on my back and my sides. I got a 3" memory foam pad as well. I tried out the set up at home last night and slept great on my back and sides! I can't wait to use it camping! It is a little taller than I realized and my feet don't touch the floor when I sit on it, but that's just a me problem. I really wanted something that would be up off the ground. It really didn't wiggle much when I rolled around on it, it felt stable and sturdy, but I'm still going to avoid flopping down or thrashing around on it. Boyfriend also tried it out for a night and found it comfortable (he's pretty picky about his sleeping arrangements).I know people aren't happy about the carrying bag not being zippered, but it doesn't bother me. It's easy to fit the cot into the bag and the combination of hand and shoulder straps makes it easy to lift and carry. It's a little heavier than I expected. There's one campground I go to that I have to walk down about 20-30 stairs from the vehicle to the site. I'm not at all concerned about carrying this cot up and down the stairs, but it's certainly not for backpacking.

I bought this camp cot on July 2024, and it broke after 5 months of regular use, with one of the central legs bending. While I am a pretty heavy guy, in no way I'm close to the 400 pounds weight limit. I wanted a quality product, sturdy and comfortable, to use on my roadtrips and camping trips, but this cot was a disappointment.I will contact TETON support for a replacement. Depending how it goes, I'll update this review.

I wanted a sturdy, non-creaking, solid bed and TETON have made a good one. The product meets my needs and I even like the colour. I thought the pivot arm was an innovative addition and appreciated. I've tested the product and I plan to use it on canoe trips - a bit of luxury for sure. The only recommendation I have is get rid of the open bag - I replaced it immediately with a zippered bag to assure things didn't fall out.

This cot has slept my big butt over 250 times in the last 2 years. Assembly is easier than most. The first few times is a bit tough, just use the pivot arm. After 10-12 times of use, the material softens up and its easier to get that final corner. The universal is extra wide and extra long compared to the adventurer but holds the same weight as far as specs go. I have had to tighten the screws a few times on the arms, but that is very small maintenance and light work. All in all the cot has not failed me, i use it 3 times a week, sometimes more.

フレームが鉄製のため一般的なコットに比べ重さがありますが、その分頑丈で歪みが出ません。年間30泊ほど使ってますが、三年目でも歪むことなく使えています。重さより強度を優先する方には間違いなくお勧めです。

Cot quality is excellent. Bomb proof construction, and the pivot arm is a great touch that really makes set up a breeze. The cot is supportive and comfortable. If you dislike a firm mattress, you may want a topper. Personally I like a firmer mattress, so I enjoy the feel. Size is great for me at 5'10"Honestly the worst thing about the cot is the transit bag. I have a Teton Mesa 10 tent, and the transit bag is amazing quality. This bag pales in comparison. It is incredibly cheap, and feels like a $10 special camp chair transit bag. It is only a matter of time until it fails. The bag is also open top to the elements, allowing any falling rain or snow to fall directly on the cot.

very disapointed. item is well built; comfortable to sleep on, easy to assemble.. and definitely a great item; i trust i will get some major use out of it. goodbye are the days of defective blow-up matresses! but.. as you can see from my pictures, this is the way it came out of the box.. rusted, paint peeling. needless to say i was quite disappointed. advertised as new.. not sure if this item was returned and i got it second hand.. i have sone questions for Amazon and will either be seeking a discount on my purchase or will be returning for a full refund.. buyer beware.. you might be getting my item!!

Bought this cot used- like new condition, i believe. Product had no defects at all and was like new. The original box was not that bad either.Went camping for the first time in Big Sur, Plaskett Creek and first slept on the ground with a sleeping bag, wasn’t a fan of sleeping on the floor since i have some back issues. Finally, came across teton cots, when intially i was looking for pillows and a new tent; Teton Bell Tent 20x20 - Glamping. Anyways, got this a few days prior to camping for 3rd Annual Labor Day weekend camping with friends at Big Sur and finally used it. I was really excited the night we got there and have everything set up. Well let me tell you, this really made sleeping and camping much more better for my back. Its not as comfortable as a bed but keeps you off the ground and comfortable enought to sleep.I also got Teton pillows and a new sleepingbag because i wanted more room to sleep in than feeling clusterphobic in a sleeping bag.Overall, i liked this product, therefore giving it a 5 star rating for it being used. Next thing i need is a bigger tent because a 6 person tent and two Teton cots wont provide you much room inside your tent... plus i’ve wanted a big glamping bell tent from Teton

Decided to try this out as it was well reviewed and was on for a really good price. Ended up getting two more.Setup consists of folding out the legs, spreading out the cot, sliding/clipping in the head and foot braces (takes about 30 seconds)Initial setup was a little tight, had to push on the frame with one foot while pulling but was otherwise problem free (I didn't get a model with the red handle). It's about as comfortable as laying on a trampoline (if you did that as a kid), if this is not for you I would use in conjunction with a foamy or self inflating mat (we used a 2" self inflating mat). All metal construction, durable canvas certainly looks/feels like this will work for years to come.Cons:At 20lb it is a little on the heavy side, you certainly wouldn't want to hike in with this. The bag is pretty terrible, handles are not adjustable, does not close tightly around the cot (I added extra Velcro to mine to fix this), but is made from the same durable material which is good.

I bought two of these cots and am very happy with them. We used them on a camping trip and found them to e very easy to set up thanks to the red pin which, when used for the last corner, cleverly levers the corner into the perfect position with it fuss. The material is quite firm at first, but provides excellent support; I expect it will stretch slightly with use. The carry bag has two Velcro closures instead of a zipper, so parts can slip out if you don't tie the sufficiently long handles as well. The weight is acceptable for car camping and home use for guests. The quality is very good.

We bought the Adventure Camp Cots (and Comfortlite Sleeping Pads) for car camping and have not been disappointed. Setup is quick and the cots are very sturdy. We've used them on multiple week long car camping trips and have loaned them out to family. Everyone has been impressed with how easily they setup and how comfortable they are (even without the optional sleeping pads)One of the great things about these cots is that they allow you to store all your gear underneath, saving a lot of space in your tent. The cots fold up to 38"x8"x4" and weigh 20 lbs each when stored. We were impressed that something so large and comfy (75"x25"x17") would pack away so easily into our trunk.Construction is 600D Poly Canvas that can take a beating, while still being comfortable. We did have a plastic end cap come off when I didn't follow instructions on setup, but Teton Sports offered excellent service, sending me a whole new set of caps "just in case".We love that the spreader bars are offset to allow two cots to be placed closer for two people. Check out the Comfortlite Sleeping Pads that go on top of the cot and velcro together!All-in-all these cots are an excellent investment. They will give you an excellent night's sleep in the outdoors and serve double duty as luxurious guest beds for when you have company.

First off, the design and build quality of this cot is top notch. I bought the Adventurer (75x25)cot as I am a lighter individual (6ft 155lbs), and I am used to primitive camping and using sleeping pads so the space is perfectly fine for me, but if you want more room you may want to go up one size to the universal cot. One thing to note is the Adventurer Cot is made entirely of steel, while the other models appear to use both aluminum and steel in their design. Even though the Adventurer cot is made of steel it is the lightest of the 3 models due to the smaller dimensions.Set up is easy, you will need a tool (hatchet handle, pry bar, handle, etc.) to get the support bars to snap into place; but I do not think this is an issue because these tools should be readily available because I believe this a truck camping item, as you would be a martyr to pack this cot in to camp in a situation where larger tools aren't available.... and even then a stick would work. The canvas after set up is snare drum tight, and somewhat of a hard surface to sleep on so I will be buying the Teton sleeping pad (any sleeping pad will work). All in all, this is a great item and the build quality is top notch, which is a rarity in today's society where it seems so many items are built almost seemingly to be disposable.
