Used it just once a year for three years and when taking it down this year the plastic nub broke off. Plastic should be a higher quality as that's where all of the tension goes, or made of metal. The bag also has inexplicably fallen apart but that's a less critical issue.

So far so good. The bed is comfortable, solid and easy to assemble, except for that last part that needs a little extra strength, but nothing too problematic. On the other hand, I find the transportation bag to be quite fragile. It arrived pierced at two spots. I had to patch it and I saw a third one appearing after my last use.

I purchased the cot for use with winter camping where my tent does not have a floor to it. It is a little heavier than advertised, around 13.5 pounds. Like many other comments, inserting the last end bar is not easy. I found using a stick for leverage helped quite a bit and it does not damage the steel legs/frame. The cot arrived within one day of ordering. There were some small scratches on one of the end bars, but otherwise in excellent condition. The cot was very sturdy and provided an excellent night sleep. I am under 6' and about 140 pounds for reference. I did use a pad on top of the cot itself to keep warm. The cot allows great storage underneath as an added bonus. For the price you pay, the cot is a good investment for car camping or winter camping if pulling your gear on a freight toboggan.

The video that was associated with the product showed that you had to pull to put the last cross bard on to the cot. I pulled and pulled and the canvas bedding would stretch enough to put the cross bar into the holes. There were scratches on the metal so I could see that someone else had tried before and this cot must have been returned and resold and sent out to me. I'm very disappointed and would not buy this cot again.

Ive had it out and laid on for 5 mins. That being said.It came quickly. Its a good price, and the quality looks good. Had to take care when unfolding, the plastic grommets didnt go together at the bar ends and split the plastic grommet. No biggie. Maybe make sure they are all pushed in as far as they can go. I didn't do that.It is super easy to assemble and folds up in a flash!Great bag!! Which I'm so thankful for!! I think I need to tare up my mind because it feels a bit heavier than I expected which limits my use.I am very happy with this purchase. It has good reviews also.

It sturdiness is less that that of military issue cots but its lighter weight. The whole thing with the frame bending in other reviews is because people are putting their entire bodyweight on the section of the frame where it bent. Cots disperse weight across the entire frame thus saving weight wirhout needing the extra strength in the bars. Your weight is designed to be dispersed across 15 feet of framing instead of the 2 feet your butt puts on one section of the frame when you sit on just one edge of the frame. As for tears in the material, this happens because people are not simply laying down in the cot. I get it sometimes you need to move around and use you knees and elbows. But this creates pressure points on small areas of the material and thus it has tendency to tear. If you wish to do more on the cot other than lay down and sleep, lay an air or foam pad to disperse pressure more evenly. This will reduce more of the risks associated with it. If you want to save money and weight, this cot is going to last if you treat it right. For a 30 dollar cot you are expecting a cot for laying down on, not one you can stand on. If you want a better cot for nearly the same price, military surplus cots are around the market.

This cot is pretty comfortable. I was surprised because I was expecting it to be a bit stiff. But the fabric has a bit of a give to it, so it's pretty nice. I bought a queen size piece of foam, folded it in half, and this is quite the comfy little bed. I also use some blankets folded down the middle to fill up the "dip", and it levels out pretty well.Only complaint is that because these legs fold up and down, they don't lock the cot into a completely fixed position. It's not unstable by any means, but it does shift with your weight a good couple of inches, up and down (if any of that makes sense). For the price, well worth it.

The cot is too narrow for anyone to sleep on it because it boasts of being suitable for someone who weighs 250 pounds in weight. The point is that anyone weighing 250 pounds cannot be just 27' in width. Just to clarify my point, I would lie to mention that the normal camp cots that one sees often in India are 36" wide and are really comfortable. The length and hieght are very good as also is the convenience of preparing the cot. But as it is it is a major disappointment for something being marketed by Amazon.I would like to return it if I can.

These cots are AMAZING. We live in Hawaii where houses are small and guests come visit often. Having an air mattress on the floor is a hassle, has to be reinflated each night and in our house, we always run the risk of one of our goofy dogs running and jumping to snuggle with our visitors and puncturing it with their nails. We've been using the air mattress + pull out couch method for years and were looking at having a LOT of visitors coming this summer/fall/winter and needed an upgrade. I myself slept on one of these cots in the field last year and I couln't believe how comfortable it was. I didn't even think about them being available for personal purchase until a couple months ago. When we looked into buying one, I couldn't believe how affordable they were! We bought two, because most of our guests are coming in pairs (not couples) and is perfect for the guest space we have available. Like other reviewers have said, yes they require a strong hand to assemble that last bit because it needs to be taut. However, if you have a strong hand available, these are absolutely worth the purchase. They are lightweight and once you have them assembled you can move them around room to room really easily. The only other thing to be aware of is that they can be noisy when you move around on them, not that I really noticed but one of my friends mentioned it. We put down blankets on the surface, even though its perfectly comfortable without the extra cushion FYI. The blankets did the trick!Overall, wow. Yes. Buy.

I've been looking for a cot similar to what my sister bought from a local mall ten years ago. I really love her portable cot, it's still solid and tidy/clean until now (didn't check the brand name). She often brings it to camping (for sleeping) and her kids soccer games (as a bench-3-4 people can sit on it). I often borrow it for travel (extra bed/cot at relative/friend's house or checking in a hotel). I couldn't find a cot similar to hers locally and I am really glad that I found a similar one online of the same price and free shipping! I just bought this product so I cannot really tell how durable it is. During assembly, I had a hard time with the 2nd end bar because the fabric is very tight. As per Vivo Cot youtube video ad: [...] @ 1:03 "this end is more difficult but it must be tight for the cot to work". I watched the video before I ordered the product. I told my sister that I will not borrow her cot again. I love the green color and I am very pleased with my purchase.
