Installation tips:
1.Turning off the engine, replace the new cooling fan temperature switches after the water in engine radiator cooled to the room temperature.
2.Avoid the external high heat source after installation.
3.Avoid sprinkling water on surrounding auto parts during the installation.
SINGLE SWITCH MODELS
1.Locate the cooling fan switch near the thermostat housing on the left side of engine behind the distributor assembly. The switch wire colors should be green and black.
2.Disconnect the wire terminal from the cooling fan switch.
3.Allow the engine to reach a coolant temperature of 196-203°F (91-95°C).
4.Using a suitable ohmmeter or continuity tester, check for continuity between the two fan switch terminals. The fan switch should have continuity (switch closed) at the above temperatures. The switch should have no continuity (switch open) when the temperature drops between 5-15°F (3-8°C) from the temperature that the switch first had continuity (switch closed).
5.If the switch does not operate within the range of the supplied information, allow the engine to cool below 100°F (37°C) and replace the switch.

Product didn't mention the temperature sensor had to be grounded through the engine block which didn't work in my application due to my sensor location needing to be in the coolant hose. Therefore I returned the item, but since this is a private seller, I had to pay for the return shipping which they said the would reimburse. I have sent them receipts of the shipping costs and they have now stopped replying to me. The original item has been refunded but the shipping (which was more than the actual product) has been left ignored and unrefunded. I am extremely unsatisfied and wouldn't recommend this seller to anyone.

Used this on my 70 monte carlo. Took a minute to fine tune but it's great once it's set. Checked several times with my temp gun and fans kick on at 190 everytime. Easy to install. Comes with everything you need. Great product great price.

Heavy red wire goes from battery to fan. Instructions appear different the way they labeled the wires. Pay attention. According to my gauge the fan came on at 203 and went off at 185. I'm happy with that.

Wiring was not easy since the picture was all jumbled, thankfully I have a good understanding of how it was supposed to be wired since I have done this before and I am a certified tech. I could see it as an issue for someone who has never done this before.

The PCM in my 96 jeep cherokee XJ failed to command the electric fan on at any temp but would still work when with the A/C on. I installed this fan relay harness inline with the existing wiring harness to the fan (about 1 foot up from the fan) and used a tee fitting to retain the stock temp sensor on the coolant thermostat. I was able to repurpose an old alarm system power wire that was already passing through the firewall to the fuse panel near the driver's feet. This setup has kept the jeep soo cold this summer (2022) in the Texas heat.I feel good about the quality of the wiring harness, relay and can confirm the sensor works as expected around 185. I needed more length for the larger red wire but far less with some of the others, each install will vary but I found this to be very simple.tee fitting on amazon: Anderson Metals-06127-06 Brass Pipe Fitting, Barstock Street Tee, 3/8" Female Pipe x 3/8" Male Pipe x 3/8"
