The original part get's damaged over time so it's good to keep a few of these on hand.  These are exactly the same as the OEM part.  Definitely worth it.

These air breather vent caps fit my Pentair cartridge filter perfectly. They are a great value for a package of four. I will change out these vent caps every time I clean my cartridge filters which is twice a year. Don't pay the price for the OEM product for these vent caps.
