The standard insoles are ideal to wear, fully washable, using wool detergent. Do not use a Biological detergent with any sheepskin product. The backed insoles should only be hand-washed only if strictly necessary. STANDARD INSOLES:Please be aware these are not like many other insoles on the market, they are designed to be as soft as possible, without a stiff structure to the back, without latex/foam/bonded back. Can’t really say they are real sheep skin as they are very thin. Then backed with might be a cardboard.I’ve bought other genuine sheep skin insoles and there was no doubt on them being real.Bought these to fit a child’s size 1 boot and pretty good fit.

These insoles are of poorest quality i have ever seen. This is false advertising and should be removed from Amazon. The base is very hard and inflexible. The title of the product says "pure sheepskin", the packaging says "wool" and the actual product have nothing to do with either. It is made of fluffy synthetic material with an unpleasant smell. I couldn't packet fast enough to go back to the supplier. Very disappointing.

The insoles were in a vacuum sealed bag. I had to “comb” the insoles to get them back to life. I put them into Manitobah Mukluks. They fit nicely and are fluffy. I’m happy with my purchase.
