When assembled and connected to a power supply 3-12V, pressing one of the 8 buttons generates a different sound, similar to a piano.

Due to the simplicity, the sound can’t be tuned.

This kit is considered beginner level.

Fun little project. Pack of 3 is perfect for teaching. Pretty straightforward build. End result is neat but make no mistake, it's not a usable instrument at the end unless you put in some sort of tuning pot.
