My garden is over run with slugs despite using multiple methods to defeat them. The steel wool worked, but rusts and falls apart pretty quickly. So i applied an overhanging edge on my raised beds and stapled the wool underneath. Not perfect, but it lasts longer and I have gained the upper hand. It was pretty depressing getting outsmarted by a slimy invertebrate

Bought to fill in any gaps in our home to keep mice out. This is just what I need, I can put as much or as little in gaps too small to use pest spray foam in. This stuff can be used bare handed if you have tough hands, otherwise you will get some metal splinters. Always use a face mask when using this stuff, JIK. This stuff is easy to cut with scissors (just don't use Mom's good ones, ok?). I use old chop sticks and a flat bamboo spatula from a thrift store to cram this woolly stuff in any small gaps to keep the mice (and insects) out. This is a very generous amount but it keeps well if kept dry and now I have plenty extra to share with neighbors or use in the future. Keep a kit in your garage with Dap brand pest spray foam (its like the kind of foam used to fill in gaps around widows, but for pests and is hard for rodents to chew once it sets up), mouse traps, wooden spatula, old scissors, face masks and gloves, Then you are ready to Mouse - Proof your home! Mice tend to come in through the gaps in flooring and walls made for running pipes (plumbing for electric, gas, water, septic and vent pipes). Even a small dime size gap can give a mouse the space it needs to get it's wee schnoz in the gap and chew chew chew to widen the gap. A rat only requires a gap the size of a quarter to chew a hole for itself. Their teeth constantly grow, enabling them to chew 24/7. Yikes! This is a very flexible material that can fill gaps and is **not** something critters like to chew on. I would happily buy again, the package arrived promptly and in good condition.

Bought this because mice got into our laundry room and chewed the hose on our washer. I'd heard that this works great to keep mice out. My husband found where they were getting in and used this there, and also wrapped the new hose with this and some duct tape and we haven't had a problem since!

Used this to stuff into holes and slits to not let mice in. Came in two big bundles and was a lot more than expected. Plenty to fill into holes.
