Bought this as it says it fits my van , also after reading good reviews . A mistake . I had to buy a special large pliers in order to close and open the cap. Should have bought a cap with ears.

My 1998 Chevy 1500K had a really scary looking garbage cap on it when I bought the truck used. No writing on it whatsoever. The water pump went out so I replaced the cap and all the hoses. Now with this cap I feel I have a cap I can trust. It's been 3 months and no problems. Fits very tight so it gives me confidence it won't leak. Time will tell.
