Founded in 1998, our tool line has a substantially reduced level of noise while retaining more power and torque. AIRCAT also incorporates a patented ergonomically engineered handle design to relieve stress and fatigue on the operator’s hands, wrists and arms. AIRCAT has the patented tuned exhaust muffler technology in most tools, which allows discharged air to pass without developing back pressure, thus retaining more power, while significantly reducing noise. More power. Half the noise.

the 1057 is all aluminum and feels better built then the 1056 since the plastic digs in your hand and hurts after a while. Also took out the muffler for more power.

I used this to install the crankshaft pulley on a 2006 f150 5.4L 3v engine. It did work to a point. I ended up having to switch to the electric plug in style Miller impact wrench to finish torque specs on the pulley bolt. This isn't exactly a heavy impact but it did its job. This is a great tool for using in tight spaces if you need something with some extra impact ability. definitely stronger than a small electric impact wrench but If you need serious torque I would recommend buying a bigger impact.

This thing is an assassin. It gets into places and hits about as hard as you could hope for. Most quiet air impact I've seen. I use it mostly while doing brakes and steering/suspension components. It does not replace a regular impact wrench, but for me it gets a similar amount of use. Compact electrics don't come close to it's power. I've had it for over two years and it's still hitting strong.

Rated for 500 ft-lbs but can’t even remove lug nuts 90 ft-fbs even at 120 psi. This maybe good for small jobs. I feel like its a waste of money.

Gun has left me wondering were it has been all my life on multiple occasions .Makes "short" work of many daily tasks around the shop and can fit places only a ratchet or wrench could before , reasonably powerful , definitely my new go to when I open the air tool drawer .

So far this has been the best addition to my toolbox. I am a mechanic apprentice and I use his gun daily for pretty much everything. I have yet to find something this gun will not remove.

This is a high quality impact gun that you can buy for the price of a harbor freight cheapie! This thing is easy to fit in most areas of any vehicle and packs plenty of power!

I work as a heavy duty mechanic and I bought this impact for getting the hard to reach nuts on the top side of airbag suspension. I've been thoroughly impressed every time I go to use it, and it's very light. 1 1/8" deep impact socket with the impact is small enough to fit inside the frame rail and has enough jam to snap the studs off the top of the rusty airbags. My length of use has only been about a month and a half, so I'll have to see how long this little gun will last in the shop.

Can get in very small spaces. Not as powerful as my much larger IR231 but good enough for normal car work.
