Spend your money somewhere else. The pump failed in less than a month after installation. The pump float switch doesn't turn on the unit reliably so the sump overflows and floods wherever you have it installed. The plastic tabs on the lid cracked and broke off while removing the lid.Honestly, this unit is garbage. Don't waste your time with it and get a more reliable unit. I received a refund from Amazon, but need to rip this out and install a new one and will definitely be putting in a different brand/unit.

This is a well-made shower sump - a little larger than I expected (check the dimensions!) but as easy to fit as any other shower sump. The pump works well and pumps fast, and can hardly be heard. Sealed cover easy to unclip for cleaning.

Replaced my old marine shower sump with this unit, and it works great. Better flow than the original and quieter. Very happy with this product and the price was by far the best anywhere.

Unit arrived on time and in one piece and as described. We needed it for our cabin as the sewer froze so had to get rid of shower water. Works well for that. Seems well built. Gets rid of water in the tank/basin really quickly.

This product is absolutely bogus it says it comes with a screw down letting that it's able to be pressurized no to a hundred pounds hooked us up and it immediately flooded my boat do not buy this product let alone the Palm does not have any lift power to it at all and does not work until it's fully submerged be at how can it be fully submerged when the canister leaks absolute bogus

I just installed this in a 1986 Bayliner Contessa 2855. It was easy to install, works well and looks neat. As other users have previously mentioned, it triggers quickly and the pump is very fast at getting the water out, much faster than any water will ever come in from the shower drain, so the cycle is very short. But it works, and that's all I wanted.
