These pop hits were the perfect size I needed and hard to find at the local big box stores. I bought one box too sample the size and once I found the size was perfect for my needs. I ordered two more boxes to have on hand as I need them.

These rivets have a very poor and not so thick end. So when I pull they do not grab. Most rivets have a dome shape circumference to catch grab and mate the rivet to the two surfaces.

the shank of these rivets is either too soft, too short, or too small in diameter; the rivet gun dies do not repeatedly bite into it sufficiently to pull the rivet head into the collar and break the shank off in the application end. Additionally, the rivet shank does not disengage the dies easily when they do break making the release of the spent shank laborious. The Arrow rivets of the same size in the red packaging are far superior in performance.

I used aluminum rivets before and they just weren't up to the kind of quality I needed. Steel rivets, however, were exactly what I needed.
