The 3M tape was placed on the deflector so that it hung over the edges. The tape could not be repositioned, had to be trimmed to install which reduced the adhesive surface area. Hope it stays in place after installation. Deflector fits 2023 Palisade

This hood protector was simple to install and so far, has deflected any chips. It's still too early to tell how good the performance is, but it looks great on the vehicle. Like it came with it!

I gave two stars due toI do not want to have to use the adhesive tape on my paint. It is a perfect fit. It is what I am looking for, but I am apprehensive of installing the adhesive tape on my cars paint.
