I read other reviews before I started. It’s best to have another person to help with the install. They have to help keep everything lined up. It took 30 minutes to install.

Well, it wasn't what I was expecting, but I'm pretty happy with it. It came packaged well in a fairly large box. It had to be, as this deflector is pretty big. It comes as a black, textured material, which I wasn't to keen on for the front of my white Sierra. So I purchased matching color paint. Treated it with an adhesion promoter, primed, painted and clear-coated before installing. Should have, probably, spent more time working the texture of, but it looks good anyway.I laid the deflector in place on the hood and masked off the topmost edge with masking tape, then cleaned the surface with the alcohol pads supplied with the deflector. Thankfully, a friend showed up about this time, because it took a couple extra hands to get it positioned properly, before pulling the tape covering to adhere it to the hood. The fit is very close to the shape of the stock hood so that's good. But I feel you really need a second set of hands to place it properly.I guess, when I ordered it, I didn't realize it adhered to the hood all the way around. I was thinking it was like most deflectors, attaching to the underside of the hood, but this one is stuck down to the top of the hood.Just returned yesterday, from a 130 mile trip and, as the pictures show, caught a few bugs, but I had none on the windshield. So, I guess, that means it must be working and I'm pretty sure it will protect the front of the hood from rocks and flying debris.My 4 star rating has more to do with it not being what I thought I was buying vs actual installation/use. I do like the look, now that it is painted body color and installed. We'll see in the long term whether or not I continue to like it.

Looks good and fits nice. Was a little difficult to install because there is alot of breaks in the tape to peel. Recommend 2 people.

Easy to install. The adhesive is incredibly strong so make sure to line it up correctly and take your time. Definitely got the looks I was going for with this as it has a matte finish. Looks great with darker colors.
