Love the fact that it came in a hard case to keep everything together wish I would’ve known I would’ve had to have a regular screwdriver with me to take the top cover off to clean it really well everything else that came with it works wonders love the speed control for the clipper blades what I expected each number to be is exactly what it was

This product saved us 5 hours of work! We used the sheep shears to get most of it off and then finished with the trimmers and scissors. My hubby said the handle did get a little hot on the sheep shears, but the blade did not seem to get too hot. Very pleased with the results!

When my $300 Oster’s died from a common issue (armature winding failure), and the replacement armature was $70, I considered a complete replacement for a bit more money.I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised, that this clipper is actually quieter, and smoother than the expensive US brand we had been using. It makes quick work of shaving our standard poodles. It doesn’t get as hot as the Oster, which is a big help keeping the poodles from getting jumpy. Two negatives- 1 The cary case is too tight to be reused. It is effectively only a shipping case. We reused our old case. Two, the blades developed some surface rust, which we never saw with Oster blades, but they still cut great, so we make sure to oil them well before putting them in storage.Would definitely recommend.

I would not recommend this shearer, advise you get a better model.Several things. The cutters and combs do not come sharp from the factory, you have to send them off to get sharpened before using. I got them back from Premier1 razor sharp. I didn't make it through one sheep before having to change out blades. The power button is in a poor location, hard to turn on and off.The decals on the side of the shearer wear off very quickly, they are just paper stickers. The motor stopped working after shearing four sheep. I changed out the resistors (?) replacements that come with the unit. Upon replacing, the unit ran for a second and started smoking. I was careful to oil every 3 minutes, clean comb/cutters regularly and allowed them to cool. This shearer is very long, which makes it difficult to get into the tight spaces between the sheeps legs and neck. The cord seems to always be in the way I would opt for a unit that hangs by a flex shift or metal linkage. This is a low cost, but poorly designed shearer, you are better off buying a better unit from Oster, Lister, Heiniger, etc if you INTEND ON SHEARING MORE THAN 3-4 SHEEP! Save your money and buy a better unit, so you don't have to waste your money on this and then have to buy another shearer later. If you are like me and thinking you can use this to get by, it is not a quality machine, look elsewhere.

I rescued a baby lamb and as it turned to summer and hot weather my little lamb became a huge hairy sheep in need of a haircut. I've never sheared sheep before and bought totally the wrong clippers the first time. I'd still be trying to shear her if I hadn't bought these ones from Amazon. They were easy for me to use and maneuver and they made it so much faster and safer for her.
