Positives:-works well-easy to use-not bulky to travel withNegatives:-fans are a little noisy, especially on the 3rd settingNotes:-comes with no plug, only a cable to charge-when plugged in the device displays 100% ⚡️-to turn on the instructions say to press and hold the button (orange) for 2 seconds, that did not work for me. Just a quick press of the button should work.Recommended.

I got this cooling pad to use in the rear-facing carseat in my husband's truck. He doesn't have overhead vents and I noticed our granddaughter was damp and sweaty when I got her out of the seat a few weeks ago. She is quite mischievous and I felt like she would tear up an actual clip-on fan (or at the very least stick her tongue in it), so this seemed like a good solution. It's not a perfect fit for our Graco 4ever DLX carseat, but we made it work. I think it would fit pretty much any stroller. I must say, my granddaughter was much cooler with this pad in the seat. And she was highly entertained pressing the button and cycling through the fan speeds. Even with all of the button pressing, the battery life was very impressive. It hardly made a dent in the charge. It was only a 30 minute trip, but at the rate of battery consumption, I feel like we could get eight hours out of a charge.Of note, we bring our carseats inside after using them, otherwise I would be concerned about leaving something with a battery like this in a hot car/truck. That's really the only drawback I can see at this point.

This fan seat is a very well made product and I actually like the fan setup / arrangement better than a simple USB-plug style cooling pad we have in one car already for long road trips where the car seat gets too hot for our young daughter. The cellular foam material inside is a good quality and I can see holes punched in it to help distribute air around the body properly. The fans are a centrifugal type which makes more pressure than the typical propeller style seen which is ideal for this application. The ability to remove the fan module is fantastic, and there's velcro on the module to help seal up the fan discharge to ensure the air gets into the padded portions. The display indicating battery percentage is super handy too when charging or while in use. I like the little rubber cover for the USB-C port to keep the inevitable crumbs out of it but the button is almost too easy to press (this would also allow your little one to adjust fan speed to their liking too though).But the battery has ONE MAJOR DRAWBACK: the fans can't operate when it is plugged into a power source so you have to run it off of battery or not at all. That setup is great for use in a stroller but not as optimal for use in a car, especially on a long road trip. There is also a major concern for the battery: the potential for thermal runaway if left in a hot car outside!! (read below for more information)When I received this item I was surprised to find the shipping box didn't have the typical Li-Ion battery warning label and when I examined the manufacturer box there was no mention of the battery or battery chemistry type which had me a little concerned. I ended up opening up the fan module to find the battery and looked up the manufacturer code and it is indeed a Lithium Polymer battery. Now that isn't a bad thing - that's actually a really good thing in regards to a durable, long lasting battery without charge memory issues. The downside is these batteries are sensitive to high temperatures, IE if you use this in a car seat and leave it in the car parked outside the interior of the car could get hot enough to cause this battery to have a thermal runaway which typically results in a fire - it's the primary downside of a Li-Ion battery.
