I was surprised with how soft this is along with how shiny and metallic it is. I'm used to fabric that look like these being itchy, and this is not at all, it is very soft to the touch and mobile too.This is a "one size" style, and for me at a size 8-10 it covers most of my bum but definitely as an accent and not the main skirt. It does not close completely and would be too short to walk or move without showing things. I have about a 41" hips.The ties are in 4 pieces, all the shades. And if you don't mind a few seams, this is nearly reversible too
