One of the best camping chairs I’ve ever used, it’s lightweight, comfortable and durable. There are many chairs out there. I find this one the best, only drawback is, it’s pricey. You don’t have to go camping to use this chair, nice chair for any occasion.

The Armchair is comfy to sit in, although leans back which is arm-chair style. Putting it together was straightforward and easier than I though with the octopus arms in the bag. It's a great system. The only thing I found very difficult was stretching the cover onto the lower part of the frame. It was super-tight and it took persistence to finally get it on. So I would say that anyone with weaker grip or muscle tone might find this too tricky. Perhaps this was only on my particular chair, but it was problematic.Overall, I will enjoy the chair hopefully for many years ahead!

This is the second Big Agnes chair we’ve purchased. Still using the first one, 2 years and lots of rough camping trips later. It is lightweight, packs small, and is comfortable when set up.

I have had my big Agnes big six armchair for a few weeks now and I really love it. I've just had a hip replaced and I needed a chair that set up high and was easy to get out of. Plus it had to pack to a small thing so I could fit it in my backpack. When I go out hiking. It meets all my requirements. And is an incredibly comfortable. I have to laugh though. When I put the arms of the chair on their metal posts I did like a lot of people have done and just put the fabric loops that are there on the posts and this was completely unsatisfactory. You would sit down. Put your arms on the arms of the chair and the arms are just simply slide down. I saw this same thing in several other reviews and thought what the heck. I have several pieces of big Agnes equipment including a really nice tent and everything I've used are theirs has been top notch. So I decided I would try and do something with the arms of the chair by adding some nylon webbing that would loop around the post for the arms. And when I took the fabric off the metal frame to sew these on, I realized that there are pockets for these arms. It's just not obvious because they're the same color as the arm itself. Upon closes inspection I could see the openings for the rods. I put the chair back together hand slid the arms on using the provided pockets and lo and behold. It's a really comfortable chair and the arm stay right where they should. I hope this helps. Other people that have seen the same flaw but come to realize it was made right in the first place.
