These worked perfectly for our spice jars which we purchased on Amazon. We used a silver metallic fine tipped sharpie paint pen to write on them.

These labels are just what I needed, I use them to label everything, even freezer containers. The pen is quite good also.

I thought these were terrific until I followed directions to use water to wipe them clean to change the writing identifying the contents of whatever they're labeling. WATER DOESN'T WORK TO REMOVE THE WRITING MADE WITH THE PEN INCLUDED WITH THE LABELS. I ended up using 70% isopropyl alcohol. Why advertise that water clears the label when it doesn't?

This type of labels has some major downfalls.* It's hard to adjust the position, if they are not placed in the right spot* Once they have been put on for a bit, removing them, they are unusable* The White marker smears very badlyThe issue with these particular set is, the white marker is sufficient to write on only about 1/3rd of the labels. :-( To continue using the rest of these labels, I will have to buy more of the little white markers.
