In my younger days, I did some aftermarket upgrades on my car (more for performance than looks). Today, I'm fine with just leaving things stock. I still do my own oil changes, so this replacement oil filler cap caught my eye. My car is blue, but as this is under the hood (and nothing else under the hood is blue), the colour is just a coincidence of note, nothing more.I like the look, and that one has a 'knob' style grip as opposed to the straight tab / blade of the OEM part. However, as another reviewer noted, the finish leaves a bit to be desired. The edges are not deburred and one could easily cut their finger on them if you have to apply any real force. Additionally, the O-Ring does not stay attached to the cap like the OEM unit. I can see myself forgetting this and losing the O-Ring down into the engine bay. Not sure if there is anything that I could use to 'stick' it to the metal cap. The cap screwed on fine, so it seems the threading is good.I won't be tossing out my OEM cap anytime soon.

The blue anodizing on this oil cap is very nice. I just wish the cap itself had been deburred or edges smoothed before anodizing as the edges are very rough. You can see the finish if you zoom on the images.Rubber 'o' ring does not stay seated in groove - have to be careful when putting cap on that it is in place. May need to put a little silicone adhesive to keep it in place.Mine came packaged with a 'Blitz' logo for the center that can be used or not.

Some nice bling for the engine bay. On m STI swapped Forester I've gone with blue accents for everything and the oil cap was next, rather than paint or 3d print my own i chose this one and I have no regrets. It fit like stock, it sealed and looks great.
