For what it is, it is OK. However, it is not really the fanciest bowtie in the world. Is it worth $7? Maybe. It is easy to use, but then again, every other clip-on tie is... What was strange is that when it arrived and I opened it, it looked noticeably different than the photos used in the advertising. It is more plastic-y than velvet, and the color is way off. It is much darker in person. It is thin, and the packaging left something to be desired. It came in what was basically a paper envelope, and the bowtie was all squished :( Overall, it is alright. I would not purchase again. I planned to have my husband wear this for a formal dinner, but it would work better as part of a Halloween costume.

When I ordered this bow tie I thought it was the traditional style that you actually tie. I didn’t realize it was already tied for you. I am not a fan of this type really but it will do for now. I needed a black velvet to match my jacket. Another thing I’m not crazy about is how it fastens. The hook is in the front. I really like for bow ties like this to fasten in the back. It’s fine for the price and like I said it will do for now.

I like this bow tie because it fits well and the material is elegant. This bow tie has excellent value for the money.

I appreciate that the listing was very obvious that this was pre-tied which is what I wanted. The bowtie is exactly what you would expect. The only reason for a star off is that the color was described as hot pink and looked it on screen. The ribbon part that would go under the collar is hot pink but the bow itself would best be described as raspberry in person. If you are matching to something specific like I was, this might not suit your needs. but I still really enjoy it.
