Nice battery box, but did not come with the battery terminals.

For something designed to perform a safety function this thing is well done. The fit is precise, the hose is heavy duty and the ability to connect cables without openings is a must have. One minor issue I had. This box is tall. My RV had a vent opening one inch above the old box and this box was an inch taller. Not sure why they made it so tall for a group 24 battery. Also the instructions say to mount the vent hold six inches above the box and my RV didn’t come that way from the manufacturer.

I use it for 2 Renogy 100 Amp/hour batteries. They fit perfectly in the battery box . The down side is that there is no protector cover on the 2 top terminal even that is is show on the box . I installed the first one and then ordered 2 others thinking the terminal protector was included. But after the 3rd one with not terminal connector , I decide to let go and find an alternative solution to protect my terminal.

Purchased this for my Fifth Wheel Rv to upgrade from a 12 volt battery to two 6 volt batteries. This held the standard GC2 batteries side by side that can be found in the wholesale clubs. Tight squeeze but it works. I bought the 3 connecting wires separately to install the batteries to the inside of the box. Easy hook up, sat it right on top of the open recessed tray from the original battery and screwed it down. I could have cut the hole bigger and recessed this one into the floor of the front compartment but I did not want to cut. Because the original battery tray did drop lower in the compartment than the actual floor, I ran the provided hose through to to bottom vent and used the original hose in the camper to connect to the top vent. This has a vent for the top and bottom. I mention that because I see comments on the different battery boxes saying that the companies are sending them two tops in error. This is not an error. These boxes need venting from the top and bottom because the batteries can and will vent, even the sealed ones can de-gas. I recommend but I wish this box had clips that the two half’s held the box together to make for easy servicing of the batteries.

Got this box to install 2 6 volt batteries in my fifth wheel camper. It seems to be at least as good as the factory box and be of good quality. It showed up missing the positive terminal connection, that’s the reason for 4 stars. I have contacted the manufacturer to get this resolved, but otherwise I’m satisfied with it.

If you’re needing a dual battery box, look no further, this box is perfect. I’m using this box in an RV application and I added a battery so this box met my needs ideally.
