this all-aluminum kit is a great value. aluminum keeps weight down while spreading heat well and the whole kit has a nonstick coating. the pot holder is simplistic but should be reasonably durable, and the whole kit has excellent fit and finish. it all nests in itself, too. there's only one lid for the two pots and it doubles as a frying pan, but the pan isn't flat, it has a corrugated pattern. this makes it almost grill food and is okay for soft things like eggs but makes pancakes or fish difficult. the pots work just as well and have a flat bottom. the teapot is cute and surprisingly lightweight although I don't know how many campers will actually use it. even without it, this is still a good kit. the whole thing is held together with a simple strap. overall, this is excellent value for money

I am really liking this pot set. Everything stacks well within each other, and is perfect size for throwing into a backpack for hike and hike out camping. The size of the pots are good for one or two person meals. I find the non-stick coating has been effective so far. They are fairly easy to clean. I really like that it comes with a handle/potlifter. I was also very excited to see that the lid can transform into a frying pan, which has always been a bit of a annoyance for me that most sets the lid can only be used as a lid.

I found it important to keep the price in mind as I was reviewing this cook set. If it cost much more, it would start losing more stars, but for the price, this is actually a really good deal.You get 2 saucepans, a frying pan, and kettle, and they all fit into each other for super compact packing.The design is very clever, which makes me wonder why they missed the mark on a couple of things.1) the handle is great concept. You can save space by having one handle for all the pots and pans. And it works great. It clamps on to the rim solidly, and everything feels secure. As long as you're holding onto it. The second you let go, it becomes loose and flops down. It still stays on, but just barely. It would have been nice to have a way to secure it to the pots and pans even if you weren't holding onto it.2) the strap to keep them all together is a bit of a pain. It would have been much better to incorporate clasps into the pots and pans. As it is, you have to remember where you put the strap, and it's a little finicky to get on. It's not a huge pain, it just could have been much better. Also, the buckle is very cheap plastic, and it won't last long. I think I'm going to just find some large electric bands to use instead.The pots and pans themselves are very lightweight, which is good if you're hiking, but they're not very robust at all. For occasional campers, they'll be great. But if you're a heavy user, you may want to find something that's sturdier.Still, like I said at the beginning, for the price, I don'y think you're going to find anything better.
