This screen fit perfectly so installing was easy. It has caught a lot of dirt and other stuff that normally would run in to my drain catch. Even with this stuff in the screen I'm still getting a good water flow.

I got this catch basin drain filter for my yard, and it’s been a game-changer. It fits perfectly in my 12-inch drain and does an amazing job of keeping leaves and debris out, which means no more clogs. I really like that the filter is removable, making it super easy to clean and maintain. It’s sturdy and seems built to last, even with heavy rain. It’s definitely helped keep my garden and patio area looking neat. Highly recommend it for anyone dealing with drainage issues!

Made well and is easy to install. Be sure and measure your drain as this is for a 12 inch, which is larger than most. A good idea if your drain is near debris like leaves and dirt.

There’s not a whole lot to say about this Catch Basin Drain Filter—and that’s a good thing. It has one job to do, and it does it well. I’ve been using it in combination with the sump pump setup in my yard, and since installing it, I’ve noticed a real difference in how clean and uninterrupted the flow has been.In fact, this filter might be a big reason why my current sump pump has outlasted the one before it. It’s doing its part keeping debris out of the system and helping things run smoother and longer. If you’re looking for something low-maintenance and effective, this definitely pulls its weight. Highly recommend for any yard, landscaping, or patio drainage setup.

I added on a catch basin to my gutters about 6 years ago. I wish I knew these existed back then because I would have added this net when I installed it. If you don’t you’ll end up with your buried pipe (that connects to your square basin box) -clogged up from all of the debris that drains down from your gutters like ;leaves, pieces of shingle, bugs, etc.. Having this netting will line the inside of your catch basin making it a lot easier for you to lift out thus emptying the debris from. If you don’t have one of these and your pipes get clogged up (because over time they will get clogged by debris,) trying to squirt out the junk that’s collected inside of your catch basin doesn’t even work to clean it out. If your buried pipe is clogged up when you try and clean your basin box out the water has nowhere to go since the pipe ground opening is clogged up. All of the water you squirt in the box while trying to clean it out will over flow from your catch basin. Making your foundation a watery mess along with the mess of having splattered all of the junk from inside the basin now onto the side of your house! You definitely want one of these.Another thing worth mentioning is that the quality of the plastic is much better than I thought it would be as it’s a thicker more pliable type of plastic rather than that hard plastic that tends to get brittle and break easily. It’s not that kind of a plastic. I feel the quality of this should last a good few years outside in all weather elements.
