It took at least 45 minutes of cleaning and rubbing the outside finish to get it up to what it should have been It was like it was stored for many years in an atmosphere of paint chemicals or cleaners that destroyed the outside finish

its not even the same cover u are showing in the picture this looks like it is rubber i don't know what I got

Amazon gets pictures mixed up quite a bit and this is one of those times. The cover I received was the blue see thru one, not the nice solid colored one shown in the picture with the name spelled out. But, it's still a protective cover for your expensive impact wrench and fits well (tip; take off the front and rear rubber bumpers if your wrench has them, slip on cover and trim the front part of the cover until the bumper slips back in place, back one will simply go over cover).
