So you've decided to purchase the best bag gloves out there and have $150 to $200 to spend. Rival, Ringside, Hayabusa, Title and Cleto Reyes all have gloves in this category. Rival and Title Blitz are excellent, but Cleto Reyes is the best. As a previous reviewer stated so well, these are Mexican style gloves. In my opinion this is precisely what makes them outshine the rest. Not as much padding in the knuckles, but this allows you to feel the power of your punch. Ringside's Heritage Super Bag Gloves are beautiful to look at, but have so much padding it's almost like hitting the bag with pillows. Built to last with outstanding wrist support, these Cletos are worth the price. The only slight issue I had was the right thumb was a little uncomfortable, but after a week of breaking in they are perfect.

The quality is what i expected from Reyes gloves. I'm 5'5 and have average sized hands for my height. The fit is snug while wearing Mexican style hand wraps.I ordered the Regular size which is a 14oz glove plus a 2oz hook & loop. So if you're wondering, the small version is 12oz(14oz), and the large is 16oz(18oz).The feel and support of this glove is top notch. I can really feel the pop when hitting the bag and focus mitts. I have no issues with thumb placement.Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase. The smell of the leather always gets me excited to train. I would get another pair if yellow was available in Canada.

Amazing product real excellent quality,you really see the craftsmanship in this product provides great protection for wrist and knuckles I was actually worried at first cause reyes is known to be a punchers glove with minimal padding in the knuckle are however with these actually protect the knuckles amazing(coming from a guy some knuckle problems),there actually 14oz glove so you know there's adequate protection everywhere and they feel and look amazing, they really pop when I hit the bag or mitts which I love, From now ill only buy my gloves from reyes

i received totally different gloves! i bought Cleto Reyes Super Bag Gloves, Pink, Junior but what i received is Cleto Reyes Super Bag Gloves, Pink, GIRLS !!!Very disappointed!

I'm very surprised by the negative reviews this glove has received. I have been using these gloves on the heavy bag and wave master for about 6 months and they are excellent for what they specifically state they should be used for - the heavy bag.Bare in mind, these are Cleto Reyes gloves. If you are unfamiliar with how Mexican style gloves are made, understand that the padding in the knuckles area is intentionally light as compared with traditional style boxing gloves. This is not a product flaw, it is a specific style of glove. If you wear wraps correctly and have proper boxing form, it will not be an issue. if you don't use wraps, and/or are a novice at boxing, you will certainly find these uncomfortable. And really, if you are a novice, you shouldn't be purchasing a glove of this high a caliber to begin with.A reviewer here stated that all the 16oz are in the wrist. While this was obviously hyperbole, I will say emphatically that 16oz all in the wrist is not a product flaw. The wrist is really where you need the most protection in order to keep a stable punch and prevent the most common boxing injury - a sprained wrist from throwing a bad hook punch. It is a good thing - ESPECIALLY on the heavy bag.I practice mixed martial arts and kickboxing anywhere from 4 to 6 days a week. I use these gloves 90% of the time. Its a great product. But if you are a novice and don't understand what Cleto Reyes is going for with this product, purchase something a little less specialized.Also: I ordered Cleto Reyes Super Bag Gloves, Black/White, Large - and that was exactly what I got when I opened up my package. No complaints from me.

I love all of my Cleto Reyes equipment. These gloves are no exception. Good fit, they also have a good kind of worked in feel. I love the smell of new leather.
