I own a 1.8 cubic foot Emerson refrigerator, Model: CR180. I contacted Emerson to find out why the refrigerator would stop working after only 3 years. They wanted to sell me a PTC starter kit for around $32. After research what a PTC starter kit included, I purchased this 4.7 ohm 1 pin PTC relay on Amazon for $6.26. It worked. I also purchased the LG Electronics 6750C-0004R Refrigerator Overload for $11.30 not knowing if it was part of the Emerson kit and not knowing if it was part of the problem. This part wasn't required to get the CR180 working again. All you need is the 4.7 ohm 1 pin PTC relay. Although no installation instructions came with the part, it's fairly easy to install. Just make sure you unplug the refrig first.My only complaint is that it took over a month to get the part from China. You'd think they would stock a few of these parts given their small size.
