While installing we found that one of the fasteners was defective. We had to send it back, but from what we saw it seemed to be a solid mount.

This mount is sturdy. I got it to mount a smaller television on a pole. It holds well even though my kids are not gentle with it. It installed in a few minutes and was easy to install.

Didn't fit to the pillar I was planned to useI believe this product is a great monitor arm.I couldn't use it because didn't fit well with the pillar I was planning to use.I would recommend to write the minimum size of the pillar that this device can attach.Since I couldn't find any size information, i though that this was one size fit all kind product, but it wasnt.The pillar has to be big to be able to attach the base.

10-25-23This is essentially an articulating arm with a specialty bracket for use with an included ratchet strap for column or pillar mount.There is a QR code which takes you to an assembly/installation video. Or also has written illustrated instructions. Assembly and installation took me roughly 30 minutes.This has plenty of tension adjustments for all positions. It moves easily and holds as long as you have it properly adjusted.You'll definitely want a second person to make life easier when securing the ratchet strap and bracket around your column or post.I'm using it on a covered patio along with their glass shelves, attached to a common 4x4 wood post. This works great, just know the ratchet handle is wider than the post and will be visible no matter how it's orientated.The quick release spring on the back of the TV allows me to quickly remove the TV and stow it indoors in bad weather.It comes with a myriad of mounting hardware and plates to fit most every TV or monitor. For reference mine is a TCL and the small plate and medium length bolts matched up.This is an easy no drill or damage solution. It's easy enough to remove fully assembled with the help of a second person and move to where it's needed for reinstallation.I don't think you'll be disappointed.Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you!
