You know how this was invented? Some smart guy looked at a hammer-drill, which have been available for a long time, and thought, -let’s make one without the drill part, and see if anyone will like it. I do.I’m using it for work on a ladder, working on repairing siding and windows. When I’m on a ladder I can swing a hammer on the right side of the ladder, but not the left because I’m right-handed. It’s also difficult to use a hammer inside the rungs because there’s not enough room to swing it. This ‘auto hammer’ is the answer. It’s also surprisingly light, in fact lighter than my real hammer. You should call it an ‘electric hammer’.
