I have a gorgeous Gentemstick snowboard and I feel the bamboo veneer is a work of art. Mine was made by Taro Tamai and his skills are definitely shown in the quality of the finish. So storing it in a locker is a complete waste! I mounted these little brackets to the wall of my chalet's ready room and I love the look. I mounted an older Gentemstick that isn't as nice, but still beautiful, below it.I used a stud finder to verify I was mounting the brackets into studs. High quality drywall anchors would work, but why chance it. I used a laser level to verify the brackets were level, but a standard spirit level would likely suffice.These bracket hold my 160cm board perfectly so they would have no trouble with a skateboard or smaller snowboard. Perfect for a display or for storage, or both!
