The package arrived a little banged up, but the product was spying. It was packed extremely well. It has two heat settings. It is perfect for my baby chicks. They can hang right on top of it without getting burnt. I am very impressed with the cord. It has somewhat of a metal spring around it so if you use it for a puppy, it would most likely not be able to chew through the cord.Cleaning is a breeze. Looks like new with a little bit of dish soap and water.I think it is very high-quality and have had very little concerns about leaving it on while I away from home.

I bought several of these heaters over the last 10 years. I have used them in my coops for safe supplemental heat. They worked great. Eventually they get old and stop working- I understand that.I recently ordered a new one in advance of very low temperatures predicted for my area.I received delivery as scheduled . Upon inspection of the package I found a gash in the box and noticed that the frame and the glass screen were broken and I could see insideThe unit.I requested a refund and I arranged a return per their instructions. I then reordered a new heater.I received delivery of 2nd heater. I was very disappointed to see that the corner of the new shipping box was also damaged and crushed. I wasn’t OK with accepting a package containing a electronic device with that amount of damage so I requested another refund and sent it back.Disappointing to say the least as I ordered in advance so that I’d be ready for my extremely cold weather and ended up with nothing.I still think this is a good product but the packaging is flimsy considering it contains electronic products.I probably wouldn’t purchase this again unless the company beefs up their packaging. Not worth the hassle. Plus it cost me 16 dollars to mail it back.

I use this in the cat house I built for our outside cats. We live in the north where we get very cold winters. I insulated the cat house and placed two of these inside on each level. The cats love them. They stay warm all winter long, which makes me feel better about having them outside and I’m not worried about a fire like with a space heater. So far they’ve been going through three winters and about to embark on a fourth winter. I would consider these to be highly durable and perfect for pets.

My little terrier sleeps in the house but got chilled at night when the thermostat was turned down. Now he sleeps with the heater near his bed under his blanket tent in winter. It is warm and cozy for him but never gets too hot or dangerous. The stand keeps the heater upright and it has two temperature options and a safe sturdy metal cord. The heater resembles a little flat screen tv, is light weight and easy to sit out of the way against a wall when not use. Pup highly recommends it.

Great heater we bought for our chicken coop on those two degree nights. Easy to mount and a safer option than a heat lamp. One leg piece came broken but we didn’t need it so kept the product.
