Most birds seem to prefer this suet to most other suets as they really like the peanut content. The problem is during warmer weather when birds peck at it; about the same amount birds eat falls to the ground due to their pecking.

Birds love it and the price is very fair compared to my hardware store.. the no melt is the way to go ..no greasy hands, easy removal from recyclable plastic container with no product residue remaining and wasted.

I've ordered this suet in bulk many times, and have never been disappointed-- and based on how quickly the birds eat this, they aren't disappointed either. Although it doesn't have the most pleasant smell upon opening, it gets the job done!I tend to buy this suet most often in winter/cooler months. I live in central Texas and often see the following birds eating this suet: Carolina Chickadees, Carolina Wrens, Cardinals, Blue Jays, House Sparrows, Lesser Goldfinch, Orange-crowned Warblers, Woodpeckers (Downy, Ladder-backed), & House Finch.Would definitely recommend!
