I first bought an L Bracket that would require drilling into the frame. That was more of a pain than I wanted to go through, and I didn't like the placement. I bought this and had it installed in 10 minutes. Very simple. Seems pretty sturdy. Looks pretty good and now my wiring isn't hanging.

I was looking for a better way to secure my trailer plugs but still give me room for the hitch pin. This is a great option. I gave it 4 stars because while the metal bracket is heavy enough, the bolts holding it place are a little small. I've noticed they have already bent a little as I tightened it all down so it wouldn't rattle. Other than that, this is a great product and does the job quite well.

Installed this on my Outback with a Draw-tite hitch. Fit like a charm and was a super easy 5 minute install. I wish it were a bit heavier gauge metal as it bends a fair bit plugging in a 7 pin. Worth the money. I would buy it again.

Original installation had riveted the harness to our plastic bumper. That failed and had to zip tie the harness to get home. This device makes everything tidy, and it feels sturdy. Was easy to install and would absolutely recommend.

This mount works great. It provides a nice, neat way to add electrical connectors for trailers wiring without having to screw a mounting bracket into your bumper. I love the fact that I don't have messy wires hanging down from the hitch anymore. Overall it took about 30 minutes to install because I had to wire for the 7-pin connector. The mounting bracket itself went on in about 5 minutes. The two bolts keep it locked on the 2" receiver and unable to fall off. The only thing I didn't like so much, is that you need to tighten the bolts to such an extent that the bolts and the top and bottom of the mount actually bend and conform to the receiver, this is how you get a snug fit so it doesn't move around. The metal surface of the mount actually bows out a bit. Not really a big deal, and it has no impact on the function of the mount, purely aesthetic. I partnered this mount with the "Hopkins 47185 Multi-Tow Adapter". I chose this adapter due to built-in 4 flat connector. The two fit together perfectly, no problems. Overall I love this mount and definitely recommend it!

There are some great reviews here explaining what a great product this is and I agree.I'd like to make two installation notes for folks who are considering installing this. First, the instructions say you may have trouble putting the bolts in from above, and if so - just put them in from below and put the nuts on top. Instead, I put the bolts in from above but only through the top holes. I then 'snapped' the bracket on to the 2" receiver and raised the bolts 1/2" or so to get them through the bottom holes. This worked great and gave me an easy time with the wrench on the bottom of the bracket to tighten things up.The other lesson learned, was to assemble as much as possible on the bracket BEFORE you attach it to the car. In my case I am not using the flat-four wire mount, but did not want to lose the parts so I attached them where they go on the bracket. That was super difficult with the 7-pin adapter installed. I ended up removing the 7 pin, installing the 4-wire hardware, then putting the 7-pin back in. You'll note there is a gap at the bottom of the bracket so that you don't have to re-wire your 7-pin adapter to install it - this feature was much appreciated!
