Best performing gloves I've tried, out of Friction, and Layout. The padding is also the icing on the cake.

A well designed glove specifically for ultimate. Works great for throwing and catching; the seams are designed in the right place to stay out of the way on by index and middle fingers and it has the right amount of grip. The wrist on these stop right at the bottom of the palm - good for wrist mobility; protects the palm well enough on layouts. True to size.

Let me start with saying I really don't enjoy having to wear gloves while playing. I've tried a slew of gloves and really enjoyed the first iteration of Mint gloves. It felt as close to natural as I could get with wearing gloves. These cutter gloves definitely are a step up from those. They are extremely comfortable and let your hands breath well. The grip when holding the disc and being able to throw is a nice medium. Not too tacky but just right. The fit on the hands is nice as well, I use mediums and they 'fit like a glove'... But really, they feel great. They've made some great changes from the originals and it was for the better. I know these gloves will just continue to get better with every new version.

I've been wearing these gloves for well over a year now and have to say I am extremely satisfied with them. They're comfortable, lightweight, reliable under all weather conditions, and I love the design. For someone who never wore Ultimate gloves before, now I don't show up to a game without them. My favorite part is the sweat towel on the thumb/back of the glove.

Want weather has arrived in the south and with the humidity near 100% flick huck disappears with some help. So I'm actually buying gloves for throwing instead of catching.Got Mint gloves a few weeks ago and immediately I noticed they had taken their first two versions and combined the strengths of both plus a few additions to make a really good product. When I put mine on I notice the fingers are very snug, but the stretchy fabric that covers the entire back of the glove meant they fit well and stayed in place. The grip of the palm seems like it is more durable than the second edition and thinner than the first edition. Nice padding at the top of the palm, terry cloth on the back of the thumb and the glove ends at the base of the palm. Love the feel. One great addition is the stretch in the palm. Slits in the grip material with the stretch fabric in the gap will definitely make this glove more durable and gets rid of the weird bubble over your palm that I've had with other gloves. I also like that the Velcro closure is design in a way that it won't stick to and damage other fabric.I still haven't worn these through a full tournament to see how they do when soaked or had a gnarly layout to test the fabric strength but Mint stands by their product so I feel pretty confident.Overall, best glove I've had yet. Very well designed and quality craftsmanshipWould recommend for sure. If in doubt with sizing, go with finger and hand length over palm width.
