I have sharpened other 3 blade broadheads like these. I use a mill bastard file and then a fine lath file. Go over them with 5 strokes or so with crock sticks and then leather stropping to get them sharp. Hope this helps.

I made the purchase after seeing the reviews mentioning that they are dull and hard to sharpen. The batch of 4 that I received has 2 out of 4 that are nicely sharpened which I test sliced with raw pork side ribs. The remaining two are still plenty sharp but not extremely sharp. All 4 spin true.I took the 2 that needed attention onto my sharpening bench. A 750 grit diamond sharpening slab and a 1100 grit whetstone were used with sharpening fluid on the broadheads. The broadheads were processed through the 750 grit slab then the whetstone. I should emphasize again, like other reviewers said, that the steel of these broadheads is hard. The result on the broadheads with the treatment of the diamond slab and whetstone was stunningly sharp already. I personally prefer butcher-knife-sharpness on broadheads since it is meat that they will be cutting. Razor sharpness is not necessary but can be achieved with a leather strop. Given the hardness of the steel on these broadheads, they should retain the edge well.Any potential buyers of these broadheads should be aware that these broadheads were made with good steel but some DIY sharpening is required.

Dpin true. Fly perfect, BUT.. they ate very dull out of the box and after sharpening gor an hour using 100, 220, 400, 600, grits I still couldn't shave hair with them. The hardest broadhead to sharpen I've ever used.I can't figure out how to get them sharp.Won't hunt with them until I can.
