Unfortunately, this "very" large FUGLY camera can only be used with the very confusing propriety app. I figured at this price point, the camera would at least natively support ONVIF, RTSP and/or PoE, etc. You have to sign up for the app which is another con. The lack of PoE support is extremely surprising and it means drilling a pair of holes in a doorway and having another to run another cable for power. The camera also looks and feels very plastically cheap.On the initial setup -the App requires location on. Camera requires internet connection, huge privacy and security issue.This camera is overpriced by double it's actual worth for what it brings.. The device is unnecessarily large and the build quality is very cheap, and the media quality is just basic ordinary, nothing special. WiFi Connectivity is another major issue, with frequent random drops and glitches.Finally, as mentioned by another reviewer, this camera is advertised as a PTZ camera. However, there is no optical zoom, but digital only. Several places on the Amazon web page and their own site the phrase "pan, tilt, zoom" is mentioned but nothing that says the actual magnification and only instructions for using the pan and tilt features (which are slow to react). That should be a red flag. Also I am totally unimpressed with it having 2 cameras, one fixed lens and a second lens capable of the three PTZ functions.

This system works great, I put it in my garage and it will hold alerts on the screen so I can see if anyone has gone around my classic car. It will even read if a person walks by the windows in the garage door. (I know this because now I can see if my son takes out the trash when I ask him, LOL)Plus, now I can look at my car anytime I want; it has a great picture.

I have just moved into my first house after apartment living for many many years. Having a front door suddenly feels weird and I feel exposed. I looked at many solutions but only needed one cam at the front so i went with this option. It seemed like a good price.Setup daunted me at first but it was actually easy. You scan the code and on the app it takes you through all of the setup stages which is great. The image quality is excellent. I was really blown away as I expected it to look blurry and lacking detail. The auto tracking works great and is supported with AI. it picks up people and vehicles.It only comes with 32gb storage so I will be looking to get a bigger storage. I love the two way talk feature which has been great for deliveries, especially when I am not at home. For $120, this Defender security camera is no brainer and provides me controlled functionality and peace of mind.

I've been using it for a few months and it works great. No complaints at all! It was easy to get set up with easy to follow instructions to walk you through it. I love how crystal clear the video is! Great camera for just basic home security

This is a beast of a camera and I could not be happier with it! I'll start with the connectivity. This camera is set up outside, and it has zero issues connecting to a Wi-Fi router that is in my upstairs back bedroom, which is amazing! The cameras are incredible! I love that you get a PTZ camera and a fixed camera all in one, and both are outstanding! The app from Defender is also fantastic! There is no monthly charge, and you get a memory card with the camera, which you can set to record all movement and playback as well. This also has an alarm which is VERY LOUD and a spotlight that you can turn on or set to turn on automatically. The app allows you to view both cameras, one in full screen and the other in picture-in-picture. The app really does a great job of allowing you to utilize all the features of this camera. I'm very impressed with this, and while it is not a cheap camera, it is a quality camera. I've seen a lot of similar cameras, but I highly doubt they have such great features and such a great app! 100% 5-star review!

I have Ring at my main home, I have Wyze at my vacay home. I put this Defender Camera and an additional Defender camera at my main home to cover areas that Ring didn't cover well. The images from Defender are far away better than either other system. The night vision waaaay better on Defender. The two view system of the main camera is very helpful. Defender has a couple levels of sensitivity that can be set where on wishes. Overall it's more sensitive than my other systems.My son, who has good electrical skills, installed both cameras and said it was fairly easy.I like that defender notifies me of activity even when I'm a couple thousand miles away. It does take Defender longer to bring up images than Ring or Wyze. but it's a matter of seconds longer. Having used all three systems for a good number of months now, if we add more surveillance cameras they will be from Defender.
