Your cart is empty.Waste gates provide a means to control the boost pressure of the turbo charged engine. Waste gates work to bypass exhaust flow from the turbine wheel. Bypassing the exhaust flow reduces the power driving the turbine wheel to match the power required for a given boost level. Similar to the BOV, the Waste gates uses boost pressure and spring force to regulate the flow bypassing the turbine. Waste gates are bolted to exhaust or header. The advantage of external Waste gates is that the bypassed flow can be reintroduced into the exhaust stream further downstream of the turbine. This tends to improve the turbine's performance.

It was cheap enough that I chalked up the other reviews to a bad batch, and no big deal if it didn't end up working.Here I am a few weeks later just to say that all those reviews are true, and my setup just cannot control boost anymore. It did at first somewhat, and now we're at the point where I might as well not even have a wastegate. I've yet to pull it off and examine it, and I'll update my review when I do, but I can only imagine there's just a massive leak somewhere and it doesn't allow any exhaust to be bypassed.

J'ai commandé une wastegate 44 mm et elle na même pas 44mm ,entrée 40 mm et la sortie 41 pourtant il dise bien (DNA Motoring WG-TL-44MM-BK Collecteur turbo externe 44 mm Noir) et je peux même pas rentrer en contact avec eux et je crois que je vais la retourner.

Used this on a turbo build for my cruiser and so far so good. only came with one spring inside which I presume is a@ 10psi..Update… you get what you pay for set screw came loose inside poked a hole in diaphragm and noticed metal shavings inside as well reducing to a 1 star didn’t last 1000 miles

I bought this in hope it would be as good quality as a fake tial 38mm wastegate I picked up from Amazon a couple years ago. It's nowhere near as good. The valve itself isn't centered in the bore and there's casting imperfections everywhere. Im returning it and checking eBay.

Aside from the slightly cheaper made clamps that come with it, I see nothing different between this wastegate and the 400 dollar one in my buddies car. Performance will change my review later but for now 4 stars for sure!
