This is a good drywall sander. IT's a bit hefty and will give you something of a workout, but if you've got the muscle for it then it'll do some good drywall sanding for you.

Drywall finishing is my least favorite reno project, but this drywall sander did make the job less of an ordeal. It’s a pig after 20 minutes of use, especially overhead, but the motor is strong and does a good job of knocking down mud ridges quickly. It doesn’t require a lot of pressure either, with just a few quick passes to have the mud level and smooth. The built in vacuum helps, but it’s far from perfect, so don’t change your expectations because dust is still going to go everywhere. The extendable handle makes applying pressure to the work surface so much easier by letting me use one arm as a fulcrum and applying pressure with my other arm.The biggest surprise for me was the LED lights. Because they shine parallel to the surface being sanded, they quickly point out ridges and dips in the mud. The sander is perfect for flat walls, but will quickly chew up inside corners if the edge of the sanding pad makes contact with the drywall. The build quality is strong, feeling like a professional tool. The vacuum hose and bag are a bit on the cheap side, but still perform as they should, but the hose doesn’t like cold. I made sure to blow out the tool before putting it away, to prevent humidity turning the dust into chalk while the tool sits for extended periods of time.

Works good once assembled. Find this to be a bit awkward to handle and heavy, though.I have uses to remove popcorn texture and worked great on non painted texture but not great for anything painted. This would work very well on mud sanding larger areas of drywall. The bag didn't last the first use, not the end of the world but would have been nice for carrying everything and keeping it together.

This is a really powerful drywall sander and it has a variable speed dial so you can control exactly how much of that power to apply to any particular part of the job.The two best features are:(1) The sanding disc is enclosed by a shroud and a brush around the full circumference of the sanding head. Once a vacuum is attached, there is almost no dust produced while sanding. This makes the job enormously cleaner and safer. I still wear a mask when using it, and I always have a clean new filter in the shop vac, but most of the inhalation risk and the explosive danger of dust in the air is taken care of by the sander.(2) Naturally, this power sander is much easier than doing the job by hand and it smooths out the drywall compound to a paintable finish much faster. It comes with a good variety of large diameter ten hole sanding discs that can easily be changed out on the sanding head to progress from a rough surface to a very smooth finish. The runner-up for best feature is the LED lighting in the head (see photo) that allows you to monitor the progress so you know exactly when you are done in a particular area or when to change the sanding disc. The arm length is extensible so you can reach even fairly high ceilings without a ladder. The vacuum hose is plenty long and it clicks in to the sander so it won't fall out.The sander comes with a dust bag, a carry bag, and plenty of maintenance spares and a tool that I haven't needed to use yet.

Sanding drywall with this felt a lot easier than doing it by hand. The suction does pick up a lot of dust, but some still escapes, so a mask is still a good idea. The extendable handle helps reach ceilings, but it can feel a bit heavy after a while. I like that it folds up for storage since it takes up less space. Overall, it works well, but the vacuum attachment could be a bit stronger.

We had popcorn ceiling on the main level of our older home and were very excited to find this sanding kit! It is heavy duty and did a great job of leveling out the plaster so that we could refinish and paint our ceiling. It is manageable to hold, but we attempted the removal in stages since we were working overhead, and regardless of how manageable it is, it is physically exhausting to hold the machine overhead for extended periods. The collection bag does a good job of gathering most of the dust that came off the ceiling. We still put plastic down over our surfaces just in case, and I'm glad we did because we did have a small layer of white dust on the plastic after we were done, but I imagine it would have been a lot worse without the collection bag. Overall, a cost-effective and easy to use kit.

This Drywall Sander comes with many accessories and a storage bag. It has 6 Speeds, an extendable handle, and a LED light.Works well and fast, a bit to heavy for me.
