This machine only works in one position, which makes the sanding process difficult, and wears out without control, the vacuum system does not work at allYou are going to swallow all the dust. The vacuum system does not work. I do not recommend this machine.

I purchased the Ginour 750W Wall Sander specifically to tackle the job of smoothing my ceilings after manually removing popcorn texture, and it worked perfectly. The variable speed settings (1000-1800 RPM) allowed me to adjust for precise sanding, and the power was more than enough to handle uneven spots left behind after scraping.Using this sander made the process so much easier and left my ceilings smooth and ready for priming and painting. The dust collection system was a huge plus, significantly reducing the mess. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to smooth out their ceilings or walls after removing popcorn texture—it saved me a lot of time and effort!

This worked great for walls and ceiling. Really was easy to use, assemble, right out of the package. Carrying it in, in the bag looks professional. Worked very well with the fabric bag and even better when hooked it to my craftsman wet dry vac with a little painters tape. I used the normal craftsman vacuum bag and cheap filter (not even the special dust bags/filters). Used the wet dry vac and sander on the same outlet with no issues. Used the hose from the sander and the hose from the vac hooked together and was still great with all the length. Worked great with the extra assortment of paper I picked up. Used it for a big job! Sanded the bits of popcorn that did not scrape off. Used it on my own drywall/mud prep, and to smooth poorly applied mud under the old popcorn I scraped off… also used it to smooth down old painted wall texture. Job went faster and was cleaner after the sander arrived… was delivered when the estimator said it would be. I did the next job and actually held the bars/fence (at the head) in my hand to see it up close on a wall (so I did not have a ton of dust). This is great when the spot is bad and really needs to be built up and then knocked down! I plan to buy one that is meant to be used close up with no pole! Go ahead and get both of you have the extra dough. Very much worth the price… worth more than I paid! Used it on 2 large jobs now. It is tiring over head. Worth it for speed and almost no dust. I found a ‘happy place’ holding it over head. I extended the pole and held the pole on my belt buckle, leaned back a little and walked backwards; then there was practically no weight. I’m short. This sander worked as well (with my wet dry vac) as the one I rented for big bucks. It was cheaper than a two day rental… and since I owned it it took my time… The head articulates very well. Good luck. You will not rent one again after you buy this.

I just used this product for the first time and it was great! I used it with an 80 grit sandpaper on a textured wall. First, it was easy to put together and take apart of put into the bag that is included. The suction power is AMAZING. I had nothing to clean up after using it. My one problem with it is that it is to heavy for me to used for long periods of time. To be fair, I don't have a lot of upper body strength and I'm sure some with more upper body strength would have no problem. Overall, I'm very happy I bought it.

Wow!!!!!I should have got this five drywall projects ago!I am a real estate broker, property owner and flipper. I do almost all my own projects but hire subs when necessary. But to spend 500+ for the dewalt or 800 for the festooll is just too much for me. Plus extra for dust collection....$$$$So I figured I’d try this one out. And wow was it a good call. It’s really heavy and actually helps with control.I did all the sanding in a room on the flats in under 30 mins. Corners barely need hit but used this to try it out on the corners. I ran this first then my normal pole with one pass just to get that little extra off if necessary.I know you can remove the shroud but I didn’t even attempt that yet as it wasn’t necessary.I guess I’ll have to start using all the pro tools moving forward. Man it makes it easy!Used first without the vac attached and it was pretty dusty. So added the shop vac and I might have had two tablespoons spoons of dust at the end on the floor. Thus thing for the price is amazing!!!!!!Don’t hesitate and buy this if you are a diy or a pro.

Seems to be a very well constructed solid product. As to the sander, it works well, I love the variable speed functionality. The main problems I am seeing are1. It only vacuums about 1 out of 100 particles that it removes. Major major problem as this is the only reason I bought this product.I am installing a ceiling and like toys that do the job for me and didn’t want to be watching drywall compound rain down. 1st 20 seconds of operation there was a cloud in my kitchen so heavy I could barely see!2. The sander head has a VERY difficult time laying flat on a surface due to its design. I did install the spring that ships unattached, but unless you are perfectly straight on initial contact it will gouge things up.3. Very unwieldy. While the construction is great, the handle and trigger in relation to how you have to hold it is very uncomfortable. I can only use it for short periods. It’s honestly a well made product, just some design problems I guess. I most likely will be returning this, but due to its robust construction it’s hard to leave a truly negative review.Just be aware that the vacuum functionality is virtually nonexistent.
