I was pleasantly surprised by the capacity I got out of this batter. When I did a capacity test, this battery is rated for 280 AH and I got over 290 and I could probably get more but I set my load tester to stop at 10 V.While editing the BMS settings I noticed that this battery can also go down to -7 and still take a charge.Putting two of these together is more than enough for the average RV.The BMS allows her over 200 A of charge and discharge.I thoroughly review a lot of LFP batteries and this has been a great purchase.

Once I pulled all of the old L16 lead acid batteries out I was ready to go Lithium. (they are so much lighter!) The two batteries are installed in series with my 3000 Watt inverter/charger, rated amperage 280A, @ 24V great. I did have a bit of a learning issue worth sharing though. With my old batteries set up as a 24V system I had a 12V 'take off' for running a car's 12V out let plug with a USB charger in it. The lead acid batteries did not care about this but the single lithium battery that carried this load, even when it was minor did not. Twice (I switched batteries to isolate the issue) I had the battery carrying the load 'shut down' causing everything to go off! The battery seemed to reading this load as a short circuit and the BMI shut it down to protect itself. At this point it will not even allow the charger to input it as the system does not show a circuit. If you do manage to get a battery to do this, the way I got it to restart was by using a 2A battery charger (automotive type) on the 'dead' battery while the generator was feeding the inverter charger. After a couple of minutes the battery 'woke up', the charger from the system engaged it and the battery immediately showed 11.57V. Probably not the right way to do this fix but it worked. Now that the mid point load is gone they are working great, good value, hope they last as advertised.Happy customer

I purchased five of these batteries and two failed within the first six months. One had a defective BMS. One had a defective weld on one of the battery terminal studs. In my own tests of the BMS, I found that it charged the cells to unreasonably high voltages before cutting current so the protection offered is dubious. Unfortunately its impossible to service or repair these batteries without ripping them apart so it is pretty much a waste of money. Given all the quality control issues I've experienced with Chinese manufactured lithium batteries (and they aren't limited to this one manufacturer) I would recommend buying individual cells and BMS boards and building your own battery. That way if you have the option of repairing any defects yourself.
