I’ve been using the EONFTIOmni Smith Machine Power Cage Squat Rack with Cable Crossover Pulley System for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded my expectations! It does everything I need and more. The rack is solidly built, and the seller has been very responsive and helpful whenever I needed assistance.I bought this rack to set up a small home gym in my 8 x 10 foot basement room, as the corporate gym I frequented was becoming too crowded. For my needs, which don’t involve heavy lifting, the build quality is perfectly adequate. I found the assembly process manageable, but keep in mind that it’s time-consuming. If you enjoy building things and solving puzzles, you’ll likely find it straightforward. The assembly diagram is helpful, and while the written instructions are limited, the videos on the Amazon listing are a great resource. The rack is very efficient in its use of space. Its compact footprint and the 45.25" width between the uprights allow for the use of slightly shorter barbells. It features 20mm holes on the front and back (not 1" as some listings suggest). I found that 5/8" (16mm) attachments worked as long as they were pinned in the front or back of the rack. To ensure a snug fit, I used aluminum spacers (16mm ID x 20mm OD rods cut to length) for the 5/8" attachments. This might not be necessary, but it worked well for me. The side holes on the uprights are 10mm (for Smith pins), which might limit your options for additional attachments. However, I don’t foresee needing more attachments, so this isn't a major concern for me.Given my limited budget and space, this rack has absolutely met my needs and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for anyone on a budget or looking to optimize a small home gym setup!

I wanted a piece of equipment that had a relatively small footprint to fit in an apartment that I could use for light weight lifting. I really wanted to like this set up but was ultimately left wishing I had purchased another product. I am going to keep it because I waited too long to return it but there are significant changes I am going to make to the machine. This rig does everything it says it will do but the size and weight tradeoffs really effect performance. There is significant flex and wobble when using more than 100 lbs for any exercise. Since the smith machine hooks onto the same uprights as the pulley one or the other is often in the way. This makes transitioning between exercises frustrating at times. The Smith bar also has no way to be stored completely out of the way. The smith is completely vertical so it takes a little getting used to but it works well and is pretty smooth. I found keeping at least 200 lbs on the storage pegs makes a the experience much better.Pulleys are the worst I have ever seen. The nylon wheels came in rough condition with scratches that dig into the cables. This means the functional trainer has a lot of friction resulting in an unpleasant experience and quickly degrading cables. Imagine a "smooth" piece of equipment at the gym, the pulley system on this machine is the opposite of smooth. The cables on the machine are already showing signs of ware, after about 20 workouts. They are constantly twisting on each other. I may have installed them improperly but I have followed all instructions provided by the company to remedy the issue but have not had success. When I first received the machine the functional trainer arms did not move freely. I had to file down the metal of brackets to get them to spin freely without snagging. The optional adjustable support pad is a hassle to put in place and is not very sturdy. It doesn't really "lock" into place well which causes it to wobble. More than 150lbs causes it to flex at the support bar. It feels very sketchy.Customer support is responsive but unhelpful. I reached out numerous times for assistance and always received a response however the assistance I received was not helpful. At one point I was directed to contact a "post purchase support team" and was given an image file with the wrong address. When I requested information about replacement pulleys I was told they would be available eventually. The customer support would not be a big deal however since the return window is only 30 days relying on customer support to resolve your issues may result in missing your return window. If you purchase this machine anticipate replacing the cables and maybe the pulleys. Also try to find reasonably priced weight storage pegs.
