My sons violin teacher recommended this brand shoulder rest. He loves the color green and it’s a nice pop of color that makes playing easier for him and comfortable. It’s easy to put on the violin and stays on. This one fits a 1/2-3/4 violin so there’s the bang for my buck.

This is a very nice shoulder rest and the color is really cool (there is some metal flake in the paint so it looks better in person). The rubber parts that slide onto the instrument appear to be very thick and durable and should last a long time. I was looking for a shoulder rest for my son because the one he was using was making him break out on his skin (sensitive skin). I picked this one because it was a recommended brand and I thought the color was a nice touch. This shoulder rest seems to be working out fine.Update:After several months of use I can say that my son does not have the rash anymore. I believe it was the foam on the other rest that was causing it.
