I love how small this heater is. It is perfect for some of my smaller tanks or if I am traveling with fish. I also love how it it USB powered so that I can both travel with it and, in a pinch, use battery bricks to power it if need be during a power outage. Not a huge fail of the dial to set it and I did find it to be a couple degrees off, but honestly that is pretty standard it seems with just about all aquarium heaters.

Heater is maintaining 78 degrees since installed 24 hours ago in my 1 gallon Tetra ColorFusion tank. The thermometer supplied that sticks on the aquarium never registered a temperature. So, I ripped that off and went and bought a inside mounted thermometer.

This is the perfect heater for my home office's 1.5 gallon freshwater shrimp tank! It's the smallest aquarium heater I've ever seen, but at 10W it has no problem keeping that tank at the constant temperature required for my shrimp to thrive. My tests show that it's able to raise the temperature more than 10 degrees above my winter room temperature (60s) relatively quickly. Like most of the aquarium heaters I've tested, its temperature readings may be off by a degree or two. If that's an issue for you, I recommend confirming it independently with a thermometer you trust.Unlike most 120 volt heaters on the market today, this lacks a digital display, instead being set by a dial with temps around the face like on a clock. The control also has a green light to let you know the power's on, and a red one indicating that it's actively heating. I like that the cord is a generous length, almost 5 ft.

Until fish tanks come with built in heaters, which I actually learned recently they can now, this mini heater is super helpful for the smaller 2 gallon tanks I have that wouldn't do well with the larger heaters.Until I can invest in the fish tank with the built in heaters, which is super expensive, this is a nice option to have

I have this in a 2 gallon tank, it is doing the job. The temp dial is a little off and skips numbers and such. I have it set at like 75 but my thermometer shows at around 77/78. Make sure you have a thermometer when you use this so you can appropriately adjust the temp dial. Other than that works as intended. I have another on the way for a 3 gallon.
